ASMW Inc. is a non profit organization focused on
developing a viable film industry based in the South
eastern USA.
Our organization helps talents establish themselves
either as actors, producers, crew workers,
directors, style and makeup artists and other talents
required for the existence of an industry.
We acquire and develop resources needed to grow the foundation of a viable movie industry here in the South. We put to work, the
local talent and resources which is in abundance. We promote the growth of our people. We empower them with knowledge and
resources to get results, grow our industry and lead our markets.
We assist individuals to harvest the available raw materials and manpower and focus this on commercial film making opportunities right
here in our communities.
We provide production facilities to stimulate the new movie industry and help in developing funding sources for independent movie
productions.
We support the production and marketing of constructive and wholesome family entertainment
We are constantly expanding the Lantawood distribution system to promote and distribute the finished movies around the world. We
also liaise with the community and the media to promote this new industry in order to make it viable and create jobs within in the few
years.
We support diversity. We promote an environment where people are valued and rewarded on the basis of their efforts and ideas,
without regard to their race, gender or creed.
Using the movie industry as our base, we are creating career opportunities for talents, actors, producers, directors, and all people
who seek to improve themselves..
(1) I have been told never to pay any money in order to be in someone's production, and it makes me very uncomforable to
do that now. How is this different?
ANSWER: If you are an actor, becoming an Partner with the ASMW Inc.is a choice. The money you pay is not directly for youto be
in any particular movie. It is the funds our association uses to create and maintain film industry opportunities for you and others.
(2) I would love to become a Partner so as to take advantage of these opportunities, but can not afford to pay my
Partnership fee at this moment, what can I do?
ANSWER: We also understand that some people may not have this money to pay upfront before begining to work. That is why we
have created a win-win situation for all. We will help you get a "sponsor" who will pay for you to enjoy the full benefits of partnering with
others within our industry. Presently, we do not seek or provide sponsorship assistance for Actors. .
(3) How can I turn my novel into a movie. ANSWER :You have 3 options: Option 1 - Partner with the ASMW Inc. as a Producer. We will train and assist you to produce your novel into a film. We will
supervise the casting, production, marketing and distribution. You would receive credit as the Writer and Producer plus negotiated
royalties. Option 2 - Send us the synopsis and if we find that it may be a commercial success, for $2500, we will assign a Producer to it partner
with you as the Writer. ASMW Inc. provides the Producer, casting, all production, marketing and distribution. You co-own the rights to
the film, plus negotiated royalties. Option 3 - Send us the synopsis and if we find that it may be a commercial success, for $4000, we will assign to it a Producer, then
partner with you as the Executive Producer. We provide the treatment, the Producer, casting, all production, marketing and distribution.
You own the rights to the film, plus higher negotiated royalties.
(4) As a Producer, am I paid while producing my film? ANSWER: Our organization has developed various methods with which an able and focused Producer can create revenue and pay
themselves and others, while producing their film. This is what we expect, and are focused in developing in our Producers.
(5) What does the Association of Southern Movie Workers Inc. do with the Partnership dues and Certification dues it
collects.
ANSWER: This revenue provides our non profit with the funding to create and develop real job and career opportunities, sponsorship
of film productions, training and developing the required workforce and creating film industry opportunities for YOU and others..
1. We provide counseling, certification and
training for the indegenous film industry.
2. Coordinate industry job opportunities.
3.Conduct public relations programs to
enhance and improve the image and
sustainability of the indigenous film industry.
4. Consult with Producers on running their
own movie production related businesses.
5. Create and direct other programs toward
making the practice of film production more
profitable for "independents".
6. Sponsor Producers and their films, also
coordinating physical DVD distribution and
revenue management for production
companies.
